It’s all about the Forever 21 look, guys. And in case you didn’t know: yes, we are back in the 90’s.
Good morning again, Lovelies! It’s surprisingly rare to see me posting twice in a week, but today’s going to be a short time for me to share some of the looks and styles that I’m obsessed with.

Dark lipstick is definitely destroying (in a good way) the autumn look this season. While it was here in the form of maroon and rich mahogany lip shades last autumn, this season is a fearless one that doesn’t mind going all black to look bold. As a matter of fact, the dark lipstick balances out a soft, natural smokey eye or for that matter a mascara-only look and pairs fantastically with clear skin and that fading tan from the summer that you’re bound to have.

Call this the ultimate 90s throwback, chokers are here! While a lot of them have a fun twist like gems and pastel colors, the traditional black cord with a small, silver charm is so daring it’s classy. I definitely think that chokers are an echo of last season’s runway fashion which featured a lot of thin, black scarves to edge-up an otherwise plain dress. It’s amazing what a single choker can do to an otherwise bland look.
Suede is most certainly back this season and with it its bringing some fun, new pastels to the game. For example, baby blue and soft pink are two very popular trends in the suede world right now, and a spaghetti strap cami with suede as its material is pretty much to die for. The material is soft but acts kind of like silk in that it keeps you both warm and cool. Also, suede skirts are my obsession right now, and I’ve been scouring stores for the past few weeks trying to find a shade and size that I like!

And mostly in the form of bomber jackets, camo, and leggings. All of these items can be found in any urban store in the colors black and olive this season (I’m looking at you, H&M) and are often paired with a mustard yellow or a classical cream if you’re not ready to go full motorcycle-gang yet. A lot of models and actors have been wearing these colors, and since they’ve got the wallets to do so, they even experiment with black on denim and olive on denim but who said you couldn’t!

While one of the more “out-there” styles, metallic is fun and creative. If you’re just starting out, I suggest going for metallic shoes or metallic designs on your shirt. For example, big graphic tees with metallic designs on them can be really entertaining and fun to wear on a sunny day with a denim jacket, leggings, and combat boots.
Essentially, camo is back. From bomber jackets to buff tanks, aviators to combat boots, the military style is definitely here to stay and believe me, I can smell the 90s from here.
There are a ton more trends to explore but as always, I invite you guys to check out Pinterest and do some hunting to pick up some serious outfit inspo. Below are a few looks that seriously set trends and caught my attention while researching for this post, and Pinterest even did a break-down of how much search trends have risen for these particular items!
Couture Hungry in Canada blessed us with this oh-so-90s look which perfectly flaunts a fun-scallop top with a serious tee underneath and to top the look off, she finishes with ankle-high booties that seriously emits Autumn vibes.
This fall look from Forever 21 is perfect if you’re having as hard a time of letting summer go as I am! I find this look to be great for the early autumn, especially down south where the weather becomes shifty but humid as we move into winter (after all, we do only have two seasons). I’m giving this one bonus points for the beige bomber jacket because it really classes up the style.
While a bit more on the conventional side, this chic look is totally something I would
wear once it cools down a bit. Bonus points for a pretty pearl colored bag.
What do I want to see in style this fall?
Without a doubt leather jackets. Leather jackets are just my autumn go to thing and their edginess and clean look is to die for in a season where powerful looks are in style. They are a little heavy and expensive, but alongside bomber jackets I think they are just really great, especially for the girls out there who have short torsos and long legs (hello) who could use the extra buff around the shoulders.
